Croatia welcomes tourists, first EU country to invite US travellers

Croatia is the first European country to welcoming the tourists during the pandemic and is the first EU country to welcome US citizens. Croatian Ministry of Interior announced that its reopen its borders for the US citizens and earlier it is mentioned that the EU opened its borders for tourists from 15 countries from 1st July not including the USA in the list.

Tourists who want to visit Croatia need to bring no COVID certificate and it should be issued 48 hours before the arrival. Travellers without COVID negative certificate need to undergo 14 days self-isolation. Travellers need to mention about their reason to visit Croatia and should provide proof of their accommodation. The US citizens who want to stay in the country need to contact local police to get a temporary residence permit. Don’t forget to follow the precautionary methods to contain the coronavirus.
