Travel is one of the most affected sectors in the world due to the Coronavirus pandemic and many changes will take place after unlocking the lockdown. Now, after easing the lockdown measures, many states in India are allowing the tourists without any rules but a few states are asking their visitors to follow certain preventive steps. As per new travel guidelines, every visitor of the state needs to undergo thermal screening at airports, bus stands, railway stations and border check posts. Travellers must follow social distancing and should wear a facial mask whenever they are in public places. If any visitors found with COVID symptoms, then they should undergo antigen test and if they found positive, then standard procedures shall be followed.
Registration is mandatory for all tourists who are coming on different modes of transportation. Visitors should register on the state smartcity website and they need to upload COVID-19 negative report not earlier than 96 hours on the portal. Tourists coming without reports should undergo paid antigen test at border check posts, railway stations, bus stands and airports.
